GPIB-USB Firmware Update 6.107 (May 14, 2013)

This firmware update is for Prologix GPIB-USB Controller 6.0 units (see picture) only.

Please follow these steps to update the firmware on our Prologix GPIB-USB Controller 6.0.

See Release Notes for changes in this and previous versions.

Note that all controller settings are reset to factory defaults after an update.

Update firmware

  1. Download update package and unzip it to a folder on your Windows PC.
  2. Disconnect Prologix GPIB-USB controller from GPIB instruments or GPIB cable.
  3. Connect Prologix GPIB-USB controller to PC using an USB cable.
  4. Open a command prompt on the PC and change directory to the folder where you unzipped the update package
  5. Type updater.exe
  6. Wait until update is complete, which could take up to 30 seconds.

You have successfully updated the firmware of your Prologix GPIB-USB controller!
